Life hasn’t slowed down much at all here on our farm. Here are a few pictures of what been keeping us moving besides all the “normal” work.
I started my college classes this week so I am adjusting to sitting and studying all day when I would rather be, well, raking hay? It’s hard to say… Anyhow I am starting to get in the swing of things and so far classes are going good.
Our corn patch is doing well this year too.
This pile of corn was turned 43 & 1/2 quarts for the freezer.
The next day:
Mom and my younger siblings put up 54 quarts of applesauce. By the end of the day the workers were a little bit “ Applesauced –Out!” I don’t blame them.
And here is a picture of the big orange moon as it was rising last night.
