I was practicing a Handel piece at 8:30 this morning. Actually, it was an accompaniment part for a vocal piece. Anyway, I was practicing away and there was a knock on the practice room door… I went and opened it to find one of the music professors standing there smiling. He said “You were playing one of my favorite Handel pieces, the Sarabande, and I wanted to let you know that you made my day already.” What a nice way to start a Monday morning!
