The orchestra pit that is. This week was production week for Mozart’s opera “The Magic Flute.” It was a collaboration of vocalists, the orchestra and the choir. Someone mentioned that we should get t-shirts that say “I survived the Magic Flute”. This week was intense with dress rehearsals Monday and Tuesday and then performances Wednesday and Thursday. Overall though, it was a great experience, but it was also a lot of work (the second violin part was 32 pages long!).
