Time flies when your having fun (or even when your not?)

I can’t believe that we are already nearing the end of August. Where, oh where did the summer go?  I enjoyed my summer, even though I spent a good share of it being very busy. Haymaking, gardening, helping with VBS, taking classes, going to Colorado, attending a bluegrass festival in MN, putting food up for the winter, going camping with my family for a couple days, farming… etc. I guess I did a fair amount this summer! However my blog posts have been few and far between, but I have managed to take a few pictures and they have been patiently waiting to be loaded on my computer. I finally got them loaded and here are a few of them.

I enjoy late summer because it is when you get to eat fresh veggies right from the garden. Here is a veggie pizza that is very tasty. DSC07134DSC07138

Grace made a interesting corn husk person.

Pictures from camping last week on a nearby lake, we fished, swam, canoed, ate, and slept. (I read a book!) It was a fun time to be together as a family.

The fish were all small. But they sure went through the worms!
