On the first day of winter...

Happy first day of winter! (I know, I know, we been having winter for several weeks already, but according to the calendar it is the first day of winter.)

We got some fresh snow last night so when I went skiing this morning I had to pack down the fresh snow. Here are a couple pictures I took in the woods.

This is an interesting tree branch I found cradling the fresh snow.

It's almost Christmas…

I have been enjoying my semester break by baking. However the goodies are disappearing almost as fast as I can bake.
