Last Saturday night our family did a program of cowboy songs at our local community center. We had a lot of fun finding and learning the songs and then practicing and performing them. Here are a few pictures from the evening.
Of course we had to dress for the occasion!
Matt, Silas, and Charlie
Charlie helped us out by playing bass, banjo, and guitar. Also he acted out 2 different skits with Nate, both of which were enjoyed, and made for some good laughs!
Silas decided to act out the mention of a shoot-out in one song!

Yep, even I got to play the bass on a song!
Afterwards, we served cowboy cookies, and other goodies that our friends made for the evening. We had a good turnout and met some new people. We are thankful the good time everyone seemed to have that evening, and for the opportunity to reach out and get to know those who came.
