The Iditarod, the great sled dog race in Alaska is currently taking place. This year Mom did a study on this race with my younger siblings. Then before the race started we each picked a musher to cheer for. Some of our mushers are doing well, some are taking it easier and hanging at the back of the pack, and the one I was cheering for dropped out. If you want to check out the race the link is www.iditarod.com Oh, and “mush” is the word that the racers use to tell their dogs to GO!
Inspired by the current race, my siblings are having fun with their own “sled dog” race. Today Silas is the musher and his dog team consists of 3 two footed dogs… I hope you enjoy the pictures.

Too funny! Where did you get such a perfect "dogsled"?
The kick sled came from up above in our garage. We found it a few years ago, and it has been enjoyed ever since. This is the first time it has been used for a dogsled.
